McLean County Circuit Court is a court of general jurisdiction that hears a variety of civil and criminal cases that includes small-claim actions, domestic relations and criminal felonies. It is provided funding from various sources, such as state funds finance, the Mandatory Assistance Program, as well as the salaries and benefits of judges and court reporters. The court also gets its funds through county revenues and state funds that provide reimbursement to the counties to offset the costs of several positions in court services. The McLean County Circuit Court maintains a facility in Bloomington, Ill.
