After seeing the success of my parents small courier business, I decided to start one of my own. I thought, why not take courier services to a new technological level. I partnered up with a good friend of mine, Derrell Barron, and the idea of ChiShip was born. There are many courier businesses in the City of Chicago, but ChiShip will be one of the first of it's kind. ChiShip will utilize a web based network of independent contractors. Our clients will be able to log on to our website and quickly schedule a pick up. Within minutes, one of our independent contractors in your area will make the pick up. Our couriers will not need to wait a week or two to be paid what they are owed. ChiShip will use PayPal and pay each independent contractor a percentage of what they have delivered during the course of the day.
