The Center for Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy is located at Northwest Community Hospital and specializes in diagnosing and treating diseases and disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and digestive system. It has nine procedure rooms and a 15-seat gallery for observers, patient preparation and recovery areas and waiting rooms. Some of the procedures performed include colonoscopies, therapeutic colonoscopy/polyp removals, upper endoscopies, enteral stenting, endoscopic ultrasounds and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography which is performed to treat diseases of the pancreas, bile ducts, gallbladder or liver. The center's team, lead by head physician and GI specialist Will Parsons, M.D., also provides consultations.
