A Chicago area fixture since the early '70s, Capt'n Nemo's has three locations, including this one in Winnetka. The restaurant offers a Chicago submarine sandwich alternative to Subway or Quiznos with a wider variety of deli meats, including Chicago Italian beef and liverwurst. Nemo's also does a school lunch delivery program.

Overhyped but the sandwiches are pretty good here. Just a basic sandwich spot. Sucks that they don't really do a lot of delivery app options. I'm not driving over to Winnetka for sub sandwiches 7/10

So good! Balboa and The American are the two that you can't miss here. Also their tuna is one of a kind and has sliced hard boiled eggs. So solid and a staple for decades.

Great sandwich and soup. Just like I remember. I asked for it toasted. The soup was fresh and wonderful. I wish it were closer to my home.
