History
Lennox Armstrong (owner/operator) grew up in Northfield along with horses, sheep, chicken, cats, and...dogs. He took his family dog, Jackson, with him to the University of Oregon, where he graduated with a degree in English. After moving to Chicago, while pursuing a career in acting, Lennox established Canine Care in October of 1992. Canine Care's first customer was a black lab named Molly. Lennox now lives in Glencoe with his wife and kids, two of whom are four legged miniature schnauzers. He volunteers with the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters. Over the years, he has worked alongside several dog trainers and behaviorists. He cherishes the many friendships made through Canine Care
