The Bloomington Consistory in Bloomington, IL is a part of the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. Established in 1907, it offers a range of degrees from the 4th through the 32nd, serving to elaborate on and amplify the teachings of the Symbolic lodge. The Consistory is open to all Master Masons in good standing and aims to inspire its members through its core values of reverence for God, devotion to country, integrity, justice, toleration, and service.
Under the guidance of Ill. Delmar Duane Darrah, the Consistory was instrumental in organizing the Lodge of Perfection, Princes of Jerusalem, and Mt. Calvary Chapter of Rose Croix. With a rich history dating back to its first reunion in 1908, the Consistory has grown in membership over the years, experiencing both periods of high figures and a decline during the 1929 depression. Today, it continues to provide enjoyable programs, fraternal fellowship, and convenient activities for its members.
