The Batavia Islamic Center, also known as the Fox Valley Muslim Community Center, has been serving the local Muslim community in Batavia, IL since 1977. Originally starting in a home, the center has grown over the years and now offers separate prayer rooms for men and women, as well as various services and events, including the annual Eid-ul-Fitr Prayer.
With a rich history of finding suitable locations to accommodate the growing number of members, the center currently resides in the basement of Calvary Episcopal Church. Led by Imam Dr. Maimoon Khan, the center provides a welcoming space for Muslims to come together for prayer and community activities.
