The Foster Bank of Chicago opened its doors for the first time in 1989. Korean-American businessmen, whose desire was to serve the banking needs of the Korean-American community in the Chicago-Metro area, organized the bank. Located on the far north side of Chicago, Foster Bank's main facility is in the heart of the 'Little Seoul' area, and enjoys an 85 percent Korean-American clientele. The bank offers five Chicago-area locations, plus a loan production office in Atlanta, Ga. It is one of the top performing minority-owned financial institutions in the Chicago area. The Foster Bank is an equal opportunity lender and a member of FDIC.
