Baha'i House of Worship is one of only seven Baha'i temples in the world at present; its building symbolizes unity and invites prayer to God. The Baha'i House of Worship reflects the spiritual truths of the Baha'i Faith: the oneness of God, the oneness of humanity and the oneness of religion. The temple in Wilmette is circular in shape, has nine sides and is surrounded by gardens and fountains. Admission to the area is free, and prayer services are held every day, beginning promptly at 12:30pm. (Prayers are offered in Spanish on the first Sunday of each month at 2:30pm.) The House of Worship Choir sings a cappella music most Sundays.
