Christian Church of Clarendon Hills is a non-denominational congregation with a vision to build a biblical community where no one stands alone. With 750 members, CCCH sponsors many programs to benefit citizens in the surrounding communities. DivorceCare, GriefShare and Dementia Education and Support groups are held throughout the year. MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a mentoring group for young moms that meets twice a month (Thursdays and Fridays - identical programming) during the school year. The church's annual Pumpkin Chase is held the last Saturday of October each year, and a Polar Express Movie Night for families is held every other December. Vacation Bible School is held the last full week in June and is open to children ages 4 through 5th grade. This free event features games, stories, songs, snacks and fun! The annual Father's Day Car Show is free and open to the community. CCCH also encourages its members to get involved with the local PADS warming shelter, where they can serve lunch to the homeless on the first Saturday of each month. The Reaching Beyond Ourselves Ministry offers assistance to to those in need in the surrounding community.
The Clarendon Hills Christian Children's Center Pre-School gets underway this fall with programs for children ages 3, 4 and 5. The center also sponsors before and after school programs for students who attend the Maercker School District and whose parents work full days.
