Arbor View Elementary School is a part of Community Consolidated School District 89. The school provides bus transportation, field trips, routine physical and dental examinations, a playground, media center, and skills program. It has a parent-teacher council program that sponsors various activities. It also has a school-based decision making organization entitled the Arbor View Shared Decision Making Committee, comprised of parents, teachers, and support staff to make decisions in a wide range of areas related to school development.
