American Bar Association provides law school accreditation, continuing legal education, information about the law and programs to assist lawyers and judges in their work. The ABA House of Delegates, Board of Governors, and the ABA President work together planning initiatives to improve the legal system for the public. The ABA provides knowledge and tools from ABA-sponsored workshops, meetings, seminars and continuing legal education (CLE) sessions. It is dedicated to helping legal professionals advance their careers. Founded in 1878, the American Bar Association is the largest voluntary professional association in the world, with more than 400,000 members.
