One of the first tennis facilities in the country, the Nielsen Center offers eight indoor and 12 outdoor tennis courts, five of which are lit. It also offers private and group lessons taught by one of its pros, Tim Schmidt or Pat Fragassi. The Nielsen Center hosts the Nielsen Pro Tennis Championship, which usually takes place during the second week of Wimbledon in early July.
