Cherie startedher own business in February of 1997, incorporating Abbey Graphic Design & Support Service in May of the same year. The first years were spent designing on the computer with her son on her lap. The business steadily grew and in 1999 it became necessary to move out of the home and into her first location on Alton's main street at 207 E. Broadway. In 2009, that location was hit by a tornado, necessitating another move to her current location at 3312 Godfrey Road in Godfrey, IL.
