SummerWinds Garden Centers is a private company based Boise, Idaho, operating in the high-end, full-service, retail nursery business. The company commenced operations in March 1998 with the acquisition of six retail outlets in the Silicon Valley of California, three in the metropolitan area of Phoenix and two nurseries along with a landscape division in the area of St. Louis. In spring 2005, it grew further by opening a new store in the Phoenix area that focused on garden products and furniture called Outdoor Living.
