About the Osprey Inn The Osprey Inn has lent its structure to a variety of uses. The original structure was built in 1915 as a boarding house for workers at the Russell/Pugh Lumber Export mill. In 1917, a fast-moving fire burned the entire town of Harrison to the ground, within a block of the boarding house. In the late 20's through early 30's the former boarding house served as the Harrison town hospital, still later a doctor purchased the house and ran his practice from his home and, in 1986 the lower level was made into apartments. Finally, in 1990, the home was restored to its full glory and became the Osprey Inn Bed and Breakfast.
