History
I knew from the beginning I wanted to be an independent body worker/massage therapist. I started my own practice within a month of completing my initial certification/training. Continuing education 2-3 times a year out of state for trainings I can't get here have been part of my business since the beginning and that will continue. I find bodies/anatomy fascinating. I like uncomplicated, flexible and personal so working independently is perfect for me. I love the one-on-one nature of the work, the problem solving and variety involved. I love what I do and can't imagine not doing it!
Specialties
Body work and Massage: Myofascial release and Visceral Manipulation are two of the modalities I have received many hours of extra training and certifications in. A session may include these as well as JBTLI (Japanese Bone/Tendon/Ligament Integration), stretching, deep tissue, muscle/energy techniques, fire cupping, gua sha and more pedestrian modalities. Each bodywork/massage session is tailored to the needs of the client. If you are looking for a swedish massage, I'm not the bodyworker for you.
