Industrial customers account for 58% of the company s sales. Its industrial customers include potato processors, chemical producers, fertilizer plants and electronic factories. Commercial customers account for 16% of sales and residential about 25%. The company was founded in 1950 and is headquartered in Boise, Idaho. It received certification from the Idaho Public Utilities Commission in 1955 and connected its first customers several weeks later. IGC operates offices in Boise, Nampa, Twin Falls, Pocatello, Idaho Falls, Hailey and Soda Springs, Idaho.
