Established in 1993, the Idaho Community Reinvestment Corporation is a nonprofit mortgage-banking consortium that provides a range of permanent financing options. It is engaged in the development and acquisition of affordable housing opportunities throughout the state of Idaho. The corporation consists of more than 15 member banks, including the U.S. Bank National Association, Bank of Commerce, Home Federal Bank, Ireland Bank, Washington Mutual Bank, Sterling Savings Bank, American West Bank and Banner Bank. It offers a variety of loan programs for the construction of multifamily homes, single-family units and communities. The corporation s project list includes the Mt. Baldy Senior Housing and Northparke II. It offers technical support, underwriting, substantial rehabilitation and consulting services. The corporation provides services to farm workers, senior citizens, and mentally and physically disabled individuals. The Idaho Community Reinvestment Corporation works in partnership with the Idaho Housing and Finance Association, which provides multifamily housing options to low- and moderate-income families.
