History
Wing Chun was developed by a woman in the 17th century and put into effect with great success in Southern China. Four generations later, it was Yip Man who gave the system it's reputation in Hong Kong and taught until his death in 1972. The most successful fighter among Yip Man's students was assumed to be Wong Shun Leung, who has made a significant contribution to the growth of Wing Chun.
