The owner of this business, Wayne Parsons, purchased a home in 1990 that was infested with subterranean termites and found through engineers, architects and entomologists that pesticides do not work and that he might have to tear down the house. Entomologists at the University of Hawaii told him about a new termite control technology--a stainless steel mesh termite barrier system which was installed in his home in 1991. That system still protects the house today without the use of any pesticide or other maintenance.
