My name is Hiram Peri, and I am the executive chef and owner of Honu Cuisine Personal Chef Services. Prior to moving to Maui I cooked as a professional chef for 15 years. I have been influenced by the food of the Pacific Northwest and the European/Mediterranean styles of the nationally acclaimed chefs with whom I've worked closely. Growing up I was surrounded by a food culture full of fresh produce, exceptional spices and a passion for cooking and sharing. As a personal chef, I fuse my professional experience and a lifetime of Mediterranean home cooking with fresh Hawaiian grown ingredients. A recent season-long experience working and cooking on an organic farm strongly influences my menus. I am committed to sharing Maui's fresh organic produce with my clients; further inspiring me to connect families with local food, promoting health, love and sharing. As a personal chef I enjoy providing families and friends with fresh, wholesome meals that are flavorful and memorable.
