History
The Straub Medical Center - Kailua Clinic is an extension of the Straub Medical Center to provide the best medical care at a convenient, close-to-home location. The Clinic location opened in 1991 to provide more accessible health care on that side of the island. Straub Medical Center is now a fully integrated not-for-profit health care system with a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. Since December 2001 Straub became an affiliate of Hawai'i Pacific Health, the state's largest health care provider.

Straub Medical Center - Kailua Clinic provides its patients expert diagnosis and treatments, including, employment physicals, school physicals, sports medicine, annual women's health exams, birth control, well child exams, minor skin surgery (removal of lumps, bumps and moles), skin cancer screening, acne treatment, specialty care in Orthopedics, cardiovascular fitness assessment, physical therapy services and ambulatory care. This location does not provide walk-in care.
