History
Practice Beginnings: Audiology Associates Hawaii began over three decades ago as an extension of the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM). The JABSOM Dean at the time decided to seek an off-campus home for the clinical program, which ultimately established an audiology department at Kuakini Medical Center where Dr. James Yates was the consulting manager. In 1990, Audiology Associates Hawaii was privatized under ownership of Dr. Yates. Current Operations: In 2011, Dr. Mueller-Schultz was brought on as an associate audiologist. She evaluates and treats patients with hearing loss and vestibular disorders at the Aiea office and Kuakini Physicians Tower. In 2016, Dr. Mueller-Schultz took over operation of the practice and is continuing the legacy of providing leadership, commitment, and quality of care to patients and future employees of the practice.
