Freedom Park Elementary School is a Blue Ribbon school that has an annual enrollment of more than 500 students in prekindergarten through fifth grade. It is a part of the Richmond County School System, which serves nearly 33,000 students in over 55 educational institutions. Freedom Park Elementary School has a staff of approximately 45 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes instructional aides, media specialists, guidance counselors and classroom teachers. The school organizes a variety of cocurricular activities, such as book fairs, science nights, visits from authors, Christmas parades, Read Across America celebrations and Toys for Tots bingo.
