This store has been an Athens mainstay since 1976 selling new and used CD's and vinyl records, record players and band posters, as well as comics at Bizarro-Wuxtry upstairs from the main store. This is the place to find new releases and re-issued albums from famous indie bands, jazz singers, folk singers, and just about any other genre as well as albums from local bands, hard-to-find imports and special order CDs.
The workers are friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about music. Several musicians from nationally known bands have worked there including Peter Buck from REM, Danger Mouse, The Mighty Manfred from the Woggles, Dave Marr from The Star Room Boys and John Fernandes from Olivia Tremor Control.
