The center features more than 155 beds in its downtown and over 125 beds in its uptown division. VA Medical Center serves as a network resource for the treatment of spinal cord injury, blind rehabilitation and posttraumatic stress disorder. The center is affiliated with the Medical College of Georgia. VA Medical Center provides medical and allied health training to more than 700 students and residents annually.
