Founded in 1973, The Hand Treatment Center, now known as The Hand & Upper Extremity Center of Georgia, provides a range of health care services. It staffs board-certified physicians, licensed nurses, medical assistants, surgeons, anesthesiologists, technicians and therapists who specialize in the care, restoration and rehabilitation of hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. The Hand & Upper Extremity Center of Georgia serves more than 4,500 patients each year. The center conducts on-site imaging and casting services, as well as offers hand therapy. Additionally, it operates a surgical center and is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. The Hand & Upper Extremity Center of Georgia maintains locations in Atlanta and Alpharetta, Ga.
