HistoryIncorporated in November of 1978, EMC began as a partnership of three professional engineers providing environmental, marine and civil engineering to the local municipalities, industries and private developers in Savannah, Georgia. After ten years in business, EMC had grown to become one of the top three firms in the Savannah area with expanded services including surveying, transportation engineering and landscape architecture. In 1998, after twenty years in business, EMC grew into a multi-disciplined, regional firm with the opening of the first branch office in Statesboro, Georgia. Since then the company has expanded its geographic reach, and added branch offices in Albany, Atlanta, Augusta, Brunswick, Columbus, Valdosta and Warner Robins.
