Founded at Richmond College in 1901, the brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon aim to create a balanced environment where high attainment and character may flourish. The Delta chapter of SigEp has been in existence at UGA since 1963. Its residence is a lovely white Southern mansion. As an alternative to pledging, SigEp runs a "balanced man" program, the goal of which is continual cultivation of values throughout college life and into the future. The men of SigEp are engaged community members who not only have fun with the social aspects of fraternity life, but also actively participate in various activities and organizations around campus and the community. As one of Sigma Phi Epsilon's philanthropic endeavors, the fraternity runs an annual haunted house, the proceeds of which are donated to ugaMiracle and therefore Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Sigma Pi

Sigma Pi was founded in 1897 at Vincennes University. Through the Sigma Pi ACE project (Altruistic Campus Experience), Sigma Pi aims to stay close to those initial values through extensive philanthropy. Along those lines, Sigma Pi hosts an annual Easter Egg Hunt for low-income youth and blood drives on-location at the house, among other projects. The Alpha Phi chapter at UGA began in 1948 as one of 113 national chapters of 90,000 total initiates. Sigma Pi maintains a strong scholarly tradition with brothers represented in Golden Key ODK, Phi Kappa Phi and Delta Epsilon Iota.

Pythagoras 41

The Pythagoras Lodge No. 41, Free and Accepted Masons, is otherwise known as the Decatur Masonic Temple and Pythagoras Masonic Temple. This building was built in 1982 and acted as a clubhouse for members. In 1982 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Lodge itself is now located on the third floor and is only open when meetings are held.
