Sara Hightower Regional Library, headquartered in Rome, Ga., provides the educational, informational, recreational and cultural information needs to visitors. It serves Floyd and Polk counties in the state. Sara Hightower Regional Library provides a wide range of services, including data maintenance, adult learning and Internet resource centers, interlibrary loan, reference sections, special collections, printed materials, and local databases information. It has a large collection of journals, biographies, bibliographies, encyclopedia and books from various subjects, such as sports, religion, mathematics, cook, hobby, mystery, romance, history, science, health, psychology and philosophy. Its other collections include classics, nobels, fictions, management, media, government, music books, nutrition, travel and foods guide. Sara Hightower Regional Library is open seven-days a week, and has branch libraries in Georgia, including Cave Spring, Cedartown and Rockmart. It also has a library for people with disabilities in the city.
