Parkview High School offers educational and extracurricular programs for children from grades nine through 12. Located in Lilburn, Ga., the school has been operational for more than 30 years. Its curriculum includes English, mathematics, history, geography, economics, industrial and agricultural arts, phonics, biology, chemistry and physics, vocational and instrumental music and physical education. In addition to its core subjects, the school also offers courses in the areas of arts and crafts, computer applications, foreign languages, and health and technology education. Its students participate in various sports, including baseball, basketball, cheerleading, field hockey, football, soccer, softball, tennis, and track. Activities, clubs sports are also offered to students to enable them to learn social skills, and interact with small groups in a nonacademic setting. Parkview High School also offers a guidance program that includes group and individual counseling. The counselor works with students in areas of personal, educational, social and career development.
