Established in 1937, the Roswell Fire Department is a part of the City of Roswell in Georgia. The department is responsible for providing fire prevention and protection services for more than 80,000 residents of the city. It offers various public fire safety education programs for over 16,000 children and adults annually. The Roswell Fire Department conducts home fire safety inspections that review fire escape planning with homeowners, as well as tests proper smoke detector placement and testing procedures.
