Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law, founded in 1873, is one of the oldest law schools in the United States. It is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and offers various graduate undergraduate and doctoral degree law programs to students. It has Furman Smith Law Library that provides a variety of books, magazines, journals, research materials and online catalog to students. The university offers a variety of sports activities to students, including baseball, basketball, cross-country, golf, volleyball, soccer and tennis.
