The Medical Assistance Division is a part of the Georgia Department of Community Health, which offers a spectrum of health care-related services and plan benefits. The Medical Assistance Division offers community-based services that include managed care, skilled nursing and therapeutic care, as well as rehabilitation programs and wellness plans. The division operates through a network of service providers, including nursing facilities, hospitals, pharmacies and physicians. It provides health planning and Medicaid services in addition to an Olmstead plan and PeachCare program for children. The Medical Assistance Division also offers electronic administration system that provides health care information to patients, doctors, pharmacists and other providers. The division is located in Atlanta.
