Maxwell High School of Technology, located in Lawrenceville, Ga., is governed by Gwinnett County Public Schools. The school offers a variety of career and technical education programs to students in grades 9 through 12. It provides auto collision repair, cosmetology, graphic communication, computer technology and early childhood education programs. Maxwell High School of Technology also offers classes in welding, technical apprenticeship, health care science, horticulture and commercial art. The school operates several organizations, such as the Future Farmers of America (FFA), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and the National Vocational-Technical Honor Society (NV-THS). Its guidance department organizes individual and group counseling sessions. Founded in 1966, Maxwell High School of Technology is a part of Gwinnett County Public Schools.
