Mark E. McClinton, M.D., earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah while competing for the university's alpine ski team. He then went on to receive his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. He returned to his native state of Washington to complete a surgical internship at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, after which he entered the U.S. Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine. Dr. McClinton then served as an Air Force Flight Surgeon at Pope Air Force Base in North Carolina, where he was assigned to an A-10 squadron and was twice deployed to Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base in Kuwait as the Director of Base Medical Services. Upon separation from military service, he completed his residency training in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Miami-Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. Dr. McClinton has 13 years of private practice experience in all routine ENT procedures with special interests in otology, endoscopic sinus surgery, otolaryngic allergy, and pediatric otolaryngology. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. In his spare time, Dr. McClinton enjoys camping with his family, gardening, alpine skiing, and endurance sports training and racing. Dr. McClinton welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
