The Lyndon House Arts Center, a counterpart to the Morton Theatre, is a recent addition to the famous Ware-Lyndon House, which was built by the first mayor of Athens. Inside the center there are multiple exhibition rooms displaying local and regional art. Artists and organizations may also rent rooms for private exhibitions. There is also a gallery shop offering local art for sale. Additionally, the center offers a variety of art classes for all ages. Admission to the center is free; there is a $2 charge for formal tours through the facility.
