KP Events is a new business specializing in wedding and event planning. The owner, Dillon Komula has a background in sales and marketing. Prior to opening KP Events, Dillon has planned fundraisers and other school related events that required media coverage, venue selection, catering, entertainment, photography, and other vendors. One fundraiser was a powderpuff football game - in which girls played football and guys played cheerleaders. It was a unique and fun fundraiser that was extremely successful. The proceeds went to Susan G. Komen's Foundation for breast cancer awareness. The fundraiser itself raised over $2100 to the foundation. Venturing out after young age and resume building, Dillon decided to pursue his dream of owning his own business. This business of course is wedding and event planning, as it has always been a big impact on his life. Dillon enjoys the stress of the events, the researching, the planning, the organizing. That's why he is in this business.
