The Kliklok Corporation manufactures and markets packaging machinery for food products. The company produces more than 150 VFFS machines annually for its customers in three core industries: frozen and prepared foods, snack foods and bakeries. Kliklok operates in a 225,000-square-foot facility in Decatur, Ga., which houses all facets of its packaging machinery operation, including complete parts fabrication and assembly. The company also has a United Kingdom-based fabrication plant. Kliklok was founded in 1944. In 1947, the company introduced the Air Weigh System (the first automated potato chip packaging system) and worked closely with the H.W. Lay Company. Kliklok and Woodman consolidated their operations in 1985. Today, the company has more than 150 employees and directs six percent of its revenues into research and development.
