We're big enough to provide a full range of products at competitive prices, but small enough to give you real, personalized service, and to custom-blend products to meet your exact needs. We can also produce smaller quantities and can deliver to places where 18-wheelers won't fit, if need be. We live and breathe agriculture, both at home where we run a farm with registered Herefords and at the store. For six generations, our family has helped farmers just like you, and we have a storehouse of knowledge that we can use to your benefit. Godfrey bought our current location in Madison, Georgia, in the late 1870s. It was originally a cotton warehouse that also sold fertilizer and coal. While we have changed our business over the years to reflect the changing needs of the agriculture industry, we have never changed our commitment to customer satisfaction. In the 1930s, we added feed, and in the late 1960s we stopped selling coal and warehousing cotton. Currently, we produce our own feed at our state-of-the-art mill, and carry practically everything you need to run your farm. We are actively involved in supporting the agriculture community, especially youth education programs, to help ensure that farming continues to thrive in the Southeast. Our sponsorships include the State of Georgia 4H Records Book program, Georgia Junior Beef Futurity, Georgia Junior Cattlemen's Association, South Carolina Junior Beef Roundup, and numerous local and regional groups and events such as cattlemen's associations, livestock shows, and high school rodeo programs.
