Coweta County School System
The Coweta County School System governs various elementary, middle and high schools. Its schools curricula include English, business education, fine arts, family and consumer science, mathematics, social studies and world languages. The district operates through curriculum, financial services, transportation and student services departments. Its schools offer a variety of sports activities, such as basketball, baseball, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, gymnastics, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis, track and field, volleyball and wrestling. In addition, the Coweta County School System offers special education and programs for gifted and talented students. Its schools support several clubs and organizations that include the National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America and Fellowship of Christian Athletes, as well as art, beta, chess, key, psychology, French, Spanish, yearbook and drama clubs. The district is located in Newnan, Ga.
