Oak Grove United Methodist Church has been a Christian worshiping community for over 170 years. The church offers traditional Sunday worship services, featuring music, praise, prayer, liturgy and preaching. In addition, it offers weekly programs on the topic of family/relationship issues on Wednesday evenings. The church also offers special worship services on the occasions of Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday (Holy Week), Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. Oak Grove United Methodist Church is involved in a variety of ministries grouped under different categories, such as Nurture, Education, Invitation, Service, Weekday Ministries and Specialized Ministries. The church operates a children's nursery for children ages birth through three years of age. It also offers local, regional, national and international ministry opportunities to its members.
