I am a clinical psychologist with a strong background in neuropsychology. I completed a two-year post doctoral fellowship in the Department of Neurosurgery at Baylor College of Medicine working with traumatic head injury and pre surgical epilepsy and Parkinson's patients. I also have a background in the use of therapeutic and assessment techniques with neurological and non-neurological populations. I mainly work with adults. I employ a process approach to neuropsychological assessment; I select measures specific to the issues at hand and do not believe in long, time-consuming batteries, particularly with the elderly. Additionally, though my primary therapeutic background is cognitive-behavioral, I also employ interpersonal, family, and client centered techniques when appropriate.
