Atlanta Board of Realtors, founded in 1910, is one of the largest real estate boards in the state of Georgia with more than 7,000 members. The board serves as a central source of information for its members, emphasizing on real estate education, promotion of professionalism in the industry, and representing members with legislative initiatives. The board has contributed representatives to the Atlanta Aldermanic Board, city zoning boards, Mayor's Committee on Urban Renewal, office of mayor and vice-mayor, and Atlanta Housing Authority. The Atlanta Board has played a major role in the creation of the Georgia Real Estate Commission, and has played an integral part in the development of the Georgia License Law. The board offers networking opportunities through educational seminars, annual auctions, golf tournaments, trade shows and annual business meetings. Atlanta Board of Realtors is located in Atlanta.
