Founded in 1987, Covenant Academy is a Christian school located in Macon, Ga. The school offers classes in Bible studies, reading, math, literature, Latin, science, social studies and computer application. Its curriculum also includes music, art, drama, debate and other literary activities. Covenant Academy s athletics department has field teams in baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf and track. The school runs a vocabulary program that constructs mental framework for deciphering the terminology of science and technology in students. It provides education to students in prekindergarten through grade 9. Covenant Academy is accredited by the Georgia Independent Schools Association and the Association of Christian Schools International.
