Continental Field Systems provides field machining, shop machining and welding services for customers in the fossil, nuclear, chemical, pulp and paper, marine and steel industries. CFS offers emergency service, stud removal, pump machining, flanges, portable lathes, valves, casing repair, inspection, assembly and other special services. Its clients include General Electric, First Energy, Detroit Edison, Georgia Iron Works, Siemens Westinghouse, TransAlta Utilities, Florida Power and Light and Alstom Power. CFS is one of approximately 24 companies in the world with the required NR stamp for nuclear repair jobs. CFS was founded in 1979 and is based in Savannah, Ga.
