Celebrity Status Salon has been serving the West End community for over five years. Patrons can receive a haircut and purchase educational readings from Nuwaupian, the small bookstore inside the salon that carries books by black authors throughout the Diaspora. On Sundays, from 5pm - 8pm, the salon's owner holds a question and answer session, featuring discussions about religious doctrine and Egyptian mysteries; these discussions are open to the public.
