The Rescue Division provides a range of emergency medical services through a fleet of advanced life support ambulances. Its service vehicles are equipped with lead electrocardiograms and intraosseous drill infusion systems. The division is a part of the Fire Rescue Department, which offers life support and fire suppression and prevention services. The department, governed by Camden County in Georgia, serves county citizens and visitors in an area of more than 600 square miles. The Fire Rescue Department operates over five fire stations. Its administrative division oversees recruitment and billing functions. The department maintains a staff of nearly 25 firefighters. The Fire Rescue Department has a fleet of engines, tankers, ambulances, brush trucks, and rescue and command vehicles.
