Since opening its doors in 2003, Duncan Creek Elementary School has added 30 classrooms to accommodate the rapid growth of the surrounding community. Though this growth has presented challenges, student achievement at Duncan Creek remains high. School principal Debbie Chavannes credits the "phenomenal" support of the parents and the community with the school's success. The mission of Duncan Creek Elementary School is "to provide a safe, nurturing environment of academic excellence, which will encourage children to become life-long learners and responsible citizens in a global community." Duncan Creek Elementary school colors are red and khaki. The school mascot is the cardinal.
